CE Marking

CE marking to BS EN 1090-1 is a legal requirement on all structural steel products place on the market after July 1st 2014. 

At Traditional Structures, we embraced this industry standard before it became a lawful requirement and we are extremely proud to be one of the first Companies in our industry to have achieved CE Accreditation before the required date.

We have since gone on to achieve CE Accreditation with the BCSA to Execution Class 3

The advent of CE marking places onerous obligations not only on us as the steelwork contractor, but also on the client and/or the principal contractor to make sure that steel products specified for a project carry the CE accreditation.

Before it was brought into place, we worked hard over a long period of time to ensure we achieved this ahead of the introduction date. Thanks to this, our clients were able to plan their future projects with the confidence that Traditional Structures will have met these demanding requirements.
